During May 2015 as part of local sponsorship initiatves, Hansen was pleased to sponsor young up and coming motorcross racer, Troy Tayor. A raffle was donated by Hansen to help raise funds for Troy to race at this years NZ Junior Motorcross champs. The winner of the Hansen Prize Pack was Craig McMillan a beef farmer from Tikoti, Northland. Craig said he was “stoked with the prize”

Those supporting Troy during the event commented "Troy qualified 5th then after 5 races he got 5th overall. We are all pretty stoked the first day was cancelled due to thunder, rain and lightning so to say the least it was a challenging track for all".
